Good afternoon!
What a gorgeous day it is today. The new craft room is still in progress, with the painting continuing. I can not wait to get back to my real painting and clay work. Also making a real effort to study photography as well. Sometimes, I feel I am too involved in too many interests. However, I would not change my life for anything. I love being interested in so many fields of study, all artistic and all creative. I recently fell in love with the small cernit sculpted babies and children. Yes, you guessed it, I will be creating these little ones as well as the Waldorf doll. At least, I will give it my best.
I am hoping to post some more art pictures in the near future, but for now, I am going out doors to capture some photographs and then in to hopefully finish painting the shelves for the craft room.
Hope you have as amazing a day!

2015
Hi there! It has been too long since being on here. Lots have happened in my little world, all good and exciting, of course. Two new grand babies, one now 2 yrs old and the other almost 6 months.
I think that will be all for now.
I have just had the best ever art and craft room created and soon plan on getting my LLC up and running and a website. So excited!
My dear friends who actually did ALL the work, made such a beautiful space for me and for all the students that will bless this space. We took down the master bedroom wall, connected to a smaller bedroom and also opened up a closet and took off all the doors. John built a beautiful counter height table, strong enough to slam clay down on and he built a slab builder, that is beyond awesome, and shelves galore. All tables built will also serve as a place to create any type of art one wants. The easels aren't in yet, but soon to come. The he built a large sewing table and everything is so wonderful. We still have some finishing up, but all the art STUFF is slowly trickling in. John and Caroline are an amazing couple who do the most excellent work. I am blessed to have found them to create this craft room.
I hope to fill this room with lots of students who want to learn everything from art, sculpture, sewing and just about anything else. I am opened to it all. LIFE IS AMAZING!!!!!!

THE GREAT LIFE
Good day everyone. It is a cloudy, somewhat dreary day out there, but inside my home, I am enjoying the quiet feeling a day like this brings. My first 5 yr old piano student arrives in a couple of hours and I really enjoy teaching the little guy. We have had one lesson, and what fun to teach this age. He is so teachable and that makes my work very rewarding.
I am so excited about gardening. Planning on doing some bottle gardening and have started preparing the bottles (DR PEPPER) for planting. I'm always looking for new and creative ways to garden and find so much information on the internet. I'll also do some wicking gardening, which is something anyone can do. Very easy and takes up so little room. Great for a patio or where space is limited. I have my hydroponic set up built by a wonderful friend of mine and can't wait to try it out.
Besides teaching my art and piano, I would like to incorporate lessons in gardening as well. Excited about this new year. Watching my going on 3yr butterfly garden bloom and teaching what I love, should make for a productive and beautiful year.
As things happen, I will take pictures and post them in the upcoming months.
ENJOY THE GREAT LIFE GOD HAS GIVEN!

Hello out there! It has been too long since last blogging. Shame on me!
I have finally decided to continue my story of doing art and so many other things that have entered my life of late. Gardening and sewing has come full force into my life and I am now at the point of putting it all together. It is about time for sure.
I will be opening my Studio....Sweet Pea in February and will be doing some fun stuff. I plan to make it a learning place for teaching, not only art in all mediums for all ages, but also piano for the young beginner, sewing for the beginner, and gardening/hydroponics. I am full of excitement about this and hopeful too that it all will go as planned. I hope to post my new art works and that of my students as well. Since blogging more than a year ago, I have gotten into photography as well and love, love, love it. Some of my photography is already posted, but I've done so much more recently. I have become a lover of the Waldorf Doll and want to teach how to make this doll to others. I have also really enjoyed learning new stitches in crocheting and hope to create some cute outfits for the Waldorf doll. So Etsy will also come into my life as well and planning to sell some things there. Most likely my photography and sewing items. All exciting and even intimidating, but hey, what is life for if not living. Right?! See you all soon.

I wanted to let you know that I do murals, esp children's rooms, whimsical art for kids rooms, and whimsically painted furniture pieces. If you have tons of art by your children and want a piece of collaged art for a keepsake, please contact me. I take several pieces of their art, cut out favorite sections and collage it all together, then frame it; that way you have a memory of the art, but that stack gets a little smaller.
Contact me at the number or email below in next post...Thanks !
